GPQ Sdn. Bhd. successfully convened the GPQ Group Leadership Retreat 2026 from 1-3 February 2026 at Resorts World Kijal, Kemaman, Terengganu, involving the Board of Directors, Management and senior executives of the GPQ Group. The retreat served as a strategic platform to align leadership on the Business Plan and Budget 2026, ensuring clear direction on the Group's priorities, performance targets, and growth strategies for the year. This year's retreat carried the theme #RisingHigher, reflecting the GPQ Group's aspiration to elevate performance, strengthen collaboration across leadership levels, and accelerate sustainable growth across its core businesses. The opening ceremony was officiated by YB LSr. Haji Zaharudin bin Zahid, Chairman of KOPERAT Sdn. Bhd., while the closing ceremony was officiated by YB Ustaz Haji Hishamuddin bin Abdul Karim, Chairman of GPQ Sdn. Bhd. The retreat was further graced by the presence of YBhg. Dato’ Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi bin Mohamed@Harun, President & Group Chief Executive Officer of Terengganu Incorporated Sdn. Bhd., who shared valuable strategic insights and strengthened collaborative networks among the leadership. In line with the Group’s transformation agenda, the retreat also featured an HR Talk Session titled “Human Capital Strategy in Business Transition: GPQ Group”, highlighting the critical role of talent development, leadership capability, and workforce readiness in driving business sustainability. With a strong focus on strategic clarity, leadership alignment, and people development, GPQ Group is well-positioned to drive impactful execution and achieve its long-term business aspirations.
