Encik Zulkifly Bin Isa began his career as a State Administrative Officer on September 1, 2005, holding the position of Assistant Secretary of Government (Administration & Finance) for the State of Terengganu. He has over 18 years of experience in the public service, holding various positions in several departments.

In 2011, he was promoted to Senior Assistant Secretary of Government (Finance / Manager of SUKTRA). In 2013, he became the Chief Assistant Director of UPEN (Investment). By 2015, he was appointed Chief Assistant Secretary of Government (Council Management & Protocol). In 2017, he served as the Secretary of the Terengganu State Legislative Assembly. As of 2023, he holds the position of District Officer of Marang.
